Project Details
To make the Barisal city resilient to impacts of Climate Change the Climate Change-Adapted Urban Development (CCAUD) Project was developed by Barisal City Corporation with the financial assistance of KfW. The Climate Change the Climate Change-Adapted Urban Development (CCAUD) Project had identified some intervention to make the city resilient to hazards of flooding, storm surges and cyclone thus reducing the risk of damage to assets and livelihoods and lives. These interventions were further divided into two Phases i.e. Phase I and Phase II, considering the techno-economic and operational aspects the project.
This includes the preparation of a regulatory IEE, EIA and ESIA and the management plans such as Road Construction Management Plan, Dredging Management Plan, Plant and Machinery Maintenance Management Plan, Labour Management Plan, Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Grievance Redressal Mechanism, Resettlement and Land Acquisition Policy Framework.
